I've ever only known 2 things in life - Photography and Music ! My parents started pointing an old Kodak 126 camera at me and my sisters when I was just born . They assembled a collection of images and ultimately , lifetime memories , as we grew up and because of that , I can look at all of my life in photos and even some 8mm movies ! 

It was only natural that I picked up a camera at a very early age and discovered I loved viewing life , people, places, things , through the little viewfinder and the joy it would bring to people when they'd see what I had captured and created. 

As a Jr in Upper Darby High School in 1978 , I started shooting for the News Of Delaware County . From there I went on to the DelCo Daily Times and eventually a 3 year run at the Philadelphia Inquirer .I maintained a position in the Phila Mayor's Press Pool for 15 years and because of all that , I can truly claim that my style really is "Photojournalism" . 

Along the way I have worked in almost every area of photography . I've shot human interest stories, breaking news ( I covered the MOVE crisis , Sen Heinz' plane crash , Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monico and the Royal Family , Sports, Concerts ( Debbie Gibson's first 45/12" record "Shake Your Love") , Pia Zadora Tour/Personal Photographer for 4 years...under water, on the ground, in the air - I've been everywhere and have loved every minute of it. 

I spend 2 weeks every year in Bermuda photographing the landscape and the people .

The other 50 weeks of the year I enjoy life with Brides and Grooms capturing amazing images as they celebrate their new life together !

As a musician - I primarily play guitar , but several other instruments as well. I lead my own 11 pc formal 1920s Jazz Band called Blackbird Society Orchestra. I started an annual charity concert "Eddie Lang Day Philadelphia" that honors the 'Father of Jazz Guitar', South Philly's own Eddie Lang . We have raised money for Bryn Mawr Hospital's Hospice Unit, Main Line Health, Musicopia, Dancing Classrooms Phila...

The highlight of my musical career was playing along Leon Redbone for a 10 year period .
